A day devoted to rest, renewal, and inspired learning. Yoga Nidra is a deeply restorative practice that supports nervous system regulation, inner awareness, and profound rest, making it a powerful offering for both teachers and students in today’s fast-paced world.
Throughout the day, we will explore the roots and history of Yoga Nidra, learn about different lineages and styles, and gain practical, accessible tools for confidently guiding this practice. You’ll be supported in learning how to thoughtfully script Yoga Nidra journeys and discover creative sources of inspiration so you can adapt the practice to a wide range of students, settings, and intentions.
Adding Yoga Nidra to your teaching toolkit allows you to offer students a pathway into deep rest, stress relief, emotional balance, and self-inquiry—whether as a standalone practice or woven seamlessly into regular classes, workshops, or private sessions. It is an invaluable skill for helping others reduce stress and anxiety while cultivating a sense of ease and resilience.
Pasithea Yoga is a Yoga Alliance–approved Continuing Education Provider, and this training may be applied toward 10 hours of Yoga Alliance Continuing Education on your YA registration. Whether you are looking to expand your teaching offerings, deepen your personal practice, or reconnect with the power of rest, this day is an invitation to slow down, listen inward, and learn how to guide others into the same healing space.
This training is offered live online from 9:00am–5:00pm, allowing you to join from the comfort of your own space while still being fully supported in real time.
Throughout the day, we will move through the training content together in depth, blending discussion, guided experience, and practical teaching tools so you feel confident and inspired.
At the end of the training day, you will be issued a take-home assignment designed to help you integrate what you’ve learned. You will create your own Yoga Nidra script, record a video of yourself teaching the practice, and submit it for review.
Once your assignment has been marked, you will receive personalised feedback along with your 10-Hour Yoga Nidra Teacher Training certification, which can be applied toward your Yoga Alliance Continuing Education hours.
This process ensures that you not only understand Yoga Nidra conceptually, but also feel prepared to share it skilfully and authentically with others.
